Sunny Mummy is the brainchild of Stacey Sullaphen whose quest to ‘do & have it all’ left her wondering why she was so exhausted and why looking after herself, had dropped off her to-do list?
As a result, Sunny Mummy was born with a mission to inspire, motivate and support mother to look after themselves first, in order to look after their families best!
Stacey’s vision is to inspire mothers to throw away the pressure of the ‘yummy mummy’ status, encouraging them to enJOY rather than endure motherhood.
By the end of 2010, after receiving hundreds of emails a day from mothers all over the world, Stacey created the Sunny Mummy Sisterhood, an online home for like minded mothers to connect in a safe and supportive way.
By the end of 2011, the cover of Madison Magazine had proclaimed Stacey ‘Australia’s answer to Oprah’ and Stacey was in discussion with QLD based charity SunnyKids about how she could help support their cause and simultaneously achieve ‘not for profit’ status for Sunny Mummy.
As of January 2012, Sunny Mummy became an official part of the SunnyKids family and Stacey’s dream of establishing a not-for-profit organisation to help mums SHINE, is now a reality.
All profits from Sunny Mummy now go directly to the SunnyKids charity, including a $40 donation to support an at risk Aussie Kid, from every Sisterhood membership sold.
